My LGBTQ Pride is a year-round deal, but when Pride Month rolls around, I love to level up. Cities across the nation light up with rainbow colors, celebrations, and parades. And house parties and Pride gatherings occur on the daily. If you are ready to take your queer cheer to the next level by throwing or joining a rainbow gathering, we’ve got a list of the best Pride Cocktails for your LGBTQ bash. Let’s get started.
LGBTQ-Friendly Booze
Before you get into cocktail making, look to support small queer-owned businesses when you hit the liquor store (or bar). When you are buying spirits to make your colorful cocktails with, choose options like Five Husbands Vodka produced by Ogden’s Own Distillery. Five Husbands Vodka was launched in 2017 in an effort to help the local Pride celebration up its game. This year, their bottle will up your celebration as a centerpiece talking point.
Other LGBTQ-run distilleries to shop include Catskill Provisions for gin, vodka, whiskey and more; Live Proud Vodka, and Saint Luna Moonshine.
Don’t have time to mix a cocktail? We’ve got you covered. Try QNSY! Created by a small business located in Queens New York, their sparkling cocktails are refreshing and as delicious as freshly made bar cocktails without all of the work. I personally LOVE their Lovely Rita, but the Cosmo and Mojito are not to be overlooked. You’re going to want to keep your refrigerator stocked with these all summer long. Find them here.
