Wanderlust Explored is a column written by Danielle Bauter. Born and raised in Southern California, Danielle Bauter spent a few years living in San Francisco after college before settling into her current home in Orange County. She is a freelance writer who specializes in travel, food, and wine. Her insatiable wanderlust began as a child and her travels continue to fuel her imagination.
